Welcome to the 12th ISNA International Conference.
여러분 반갑습니다. 서울특별시장 박원순입니다.
It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Wonsoon Park, the mayor of Seoul.
제12차 국제스누젤렌학술대회 개최를 진심으로 축하드립니다.
Congratulations on the 12th ISNA International Conference.
스누젤렌이란 말을 사실 저도 처음 들었는데요. 죄송합니다. 무식해서(웃음)
Honestly, this is the first time I have heard of Snoezelen. I apologize for my ignorance.
편안하고 아늑하게 환경을 꾸며서 그것이 힐링과 평안, 행복에 도움이 되는 의미라고 들었습니다.
I learned it means to create an environment of familiarity and comfort to promote healing, peace and happiness.
사실 좀 만시지탄이 있네요. I wish I had known what Snoezelen’s meant earlier.
시립서울장애인종합복지관에서 먼저 이런 것들을 시작한다고 하니 정말 기쁘고요.
I am so happy to hear that Seoul Community Rehabilitation Center is the first to implement this Snoezelen.

I want to commend you for all your hard work. (You are all doing a remarkable job in this field.)
사실 우리들의 삶의 질이 점점 높아지고 있는데 그것이 어떤 외형적인 것뿐만 아니라 내용적으로, 소프트웨어적으로, 프로그램적으로 변화, 발전해 가야한다고 생각합니다. On the surface level, our quality of life is increasing but real change and development is needed from a content, software, and programming aspect.
이런 스누젤렌 학술대회가 이런 과정과 방향 그리고 비전에 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 믿습니다.
I believe this conference will contribute to that vision.
